Brixey R. Shelton, M.D. joined Memphis Vascular Center in 2001. A Tennessee native, Dr. Shelton received an undergraduate degree from David Lipscomb University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis.
Dr. Shelton is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology and Tennessee Radiological Society.
Jon A. Roberts, M.D. helped form Memphis Vascular Center in 2001.

He earned his medical degree at East Tennessee State University and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Roberts is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, Tennessee Radiological Society, Society of Interventional Radiology, and Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Roberts and his wife have 3 children. He enjoys time with his family and travel.
David E. Buechner, M.D. joined Memphis Vascular Center in 2001. A California native, Dr. Buechner received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Christian Brothers University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Buechner is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, Tennessee Radiological Society, American Society of Neuroradiology, and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Buechner and his wife have 2 children. He enjoys golf, tennis, snow and water skiing, and music.
James W. Boals Jr., M.D. joined Memphis Vascular Center in 2001. A Tennessee native, Dr. Boals received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duke University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Boals and his wife have 2 children. He enjoys basketball and various outdoor sports including hiking and fishing.
David P. Fang, M.D. joined Memphis Vascular Center in 2004. A Taiwan native, Dr. Fang received an undergraduate degree in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University. He earned his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Fang is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the Society of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Fang and his wife have one child.
Philip R. Weber, M.D. joined Memphis Vascular Center in 2005. A Tennessee native, Dr. Weber received an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from Christian Brothers University. He earned his medical degree at the University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Christopher T. Somogyi, M.D. joined Memphis Radiological PC in 2007. A Tennessee native, Dr. Somogyi received an undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of Memphis. He earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. He completed his fellowship in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Endovascular Neurosurgery at Washington University, St. Louis, MO.

Van A. Montgomery, M.D. joined Memphis Vascular in 2009. A Germantown native, Dr. Montgomery received an undergraduate degree in Biology and Electrical Engineering from the University of Memphis. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Methodist University Hospital of Memphis. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina, Heart and Vascular Center.
Dr. Montgomery is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, Eastern Radiological Society and Society of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Montgomery and his wife have 1 child. He enjoys golf and gardening.
